1. How do you recognise a mandatory field?
An asterisk ( * ) follows the label of every field you must fill in. As long as one of these fields is empty, the "Next" button will not let you move on to the following step.
All the other fields are optional: you can complete them later, even after your listing goes live.
The fields followed by an asterisk are the only ones you have to fill in to continue.

3. Three useful clarifications
- The photo — step 4 carries no asterisk, but publishing without a single photo is impossible. Count on eight for an effective listing, thirty-two at most.
- The EPC certificate — no field is marked as mandatory at step 7, but the certificate is legally mandatory when selling or letting in Belgium. Enter the primary energy consumption: the EPC badge is calculated automatically.
- The phone number — optional at step 8, but required to benefit from the results guarantee.
